i admit, i have watched a christmas story in it's entirety every year for as long as i can remember, and will continue to do so because it retains a certain nostalgia that stems far back into my childhood memories of christmas, it just isn't christmas time until i have watched that movie. however, from now on, when i view the scene of ralphie's friend "flick" getting his tongue stuck on a pole, i won't feel so bad for the kid. this is because, as kids do, scott schwartz, or flick, grew up and starred in "scotty's x-rated adventure," a film where, presumably, there are no scenes of his tongue being stuck on a pole, rather it is his pole that is stuck on someone else's tongue.
